This is my thought on the society that is constantly in need for more. It's a monster and yet miserable because we all fall under the category.
As quiet as a whisper And as sudden as time Just as thorns upon a flower Are as sneaky as a crime A never-knowing anticipation
Golden and cheerful, His beak reflects the sun. Chirping and singing, All for his loved one. He sings the day away.
If we picked our friends like seas… How picky would we be? We’d pick the nicest, the shiniest… The finest of the sea. But what about the broken ones?
I crossed the stars to talk to you And never looked both ways. I used no maps, no GPS, No person’s word or say. I simply crossed the galaxy
Glass tears shatter. Plastic teeth grin. Rubber lips frown. Our society smiles at the glass, The plastic, the rubber.
She knows me more than anyone Cause she’s with me all my life. Always following Always sneaking Behind, my back side.
Dressed in a bouquet of white And draped in a feathery boa, She sits and sulks in silent. Quietly she sways On the gleaming water’s edge
Never stopping Always growing Aging slowly Stretching gently Young buds
