Finding Me
Some time is what I need
To focus on me.
Figure out who I am,
Find out who I will be.
I don’t ask for long,
Maybe a month or two.
You also need some time
To find the real you.
Separation might be hard
But it’ll be okay.
I won’t leave you I promise,
We’ll be one again someday.
Before you fall apart,
Hear me loud and clear.
A month is all I need
Nothing worth the fear.
A wise man once told me,
“Times moves faster than you think.”
Think about that next time
You think you need a drink.
When you need a word of encouragement
Or perhaps just to talk.
You can always come to me
We’ll take a little walk.
Don’t spend your time worrying of me,
I will do the same.
If I need ANYTHING
I will surely call your name.
I trust you with my life,
You still hold place in my heart.
This little break we’re taking
Is going to give us our fresh start.
