Suddenly I fall;
Streets feeling hard as the air;
Who will see me go:
Air rushes past me;
Faster and faster I move;
Hoping not to crash:
Heart strings rearrange;
Letting go of what scares me;
I think I’m ready:
Suddenly I’m still;
Held up by a thin pink string;
Do I dare to move:
Will you come for me;
I know we are connected;
You feel my pain:
My body goes limp;
Cold, I need to feel something;
Familiar warmth:
My body craves yours;
But it runs from you kind words;
How fickle my heart:
Please help pull me up;
Do not fear what the heart wants;

My feet touch the ground;
