From the Prejudice of Measly Souls, We Hide

We lie, to ourselves
we shrink within the confinement of our minds
we lose ourselves.
We lie to protect ourselves,
from the prejudice of measly souls,
of whom have no idea or capability,
of understanding the suffering
of those who can’t help themselves.
Who only know one way,
one,
bloody,
messy,
crappy,
way.
We try to share with others
but previous dealings,
with minds who don’t, quite get it
and those who don’t want to,
or those who think we are weak.
We, have experienced more pain,
we have died and another,
darker,
weaker,
crushed,
individual, has taken our place.
We just need to experience, unconditional,
love, friendship, hope, and kindness
from those whom we share with.
We, shouldn’t have to go through another layer of crap,
while trying to share our selfharm, or depression.
We need friends, anyone, everyone
to accept us for us.
Every last detail,
scar,
cut,
thought,
attempt,
just be there, with hope and acceptance
friendship and care.
And from the prejudice of measly souls, we hide.
