I lie

I am asked how I feel
I lie.
Most people do
they lie because they feel
a little upset
or something happened at work
or school.
I lie because I don’t want to worry you,
to make you happy,
to make me seem normal.
I say I’m happy
loving life,
and fine.
I lie
because I don’t know
how to label how I feel.
Sad?
Angry?
Depressed?
Empty?
Nothingness?
I don’t know anymore.
