Diviner's Tea

Hunger, live and feel,
You strive to prove that all is real.
A porcelain enigma on the sharpest omniscient plane,
When all shall one day burn what is there to gain?
Flip to fall the one over all,
Call me Vica Vex so that I’ll fit the crowd.

If all was felt in ecstasy would nothing be sacred still?
Good things in small doses yet all things shall come,
All I have salvaged to keep me as numb.
Steadily approaching stars give no warning to the birds.
The dying will strive even more than the alive.
Yet all ignore the eternal words.

Pass me a beer though its not much to drink,
And let me pop your pills,
Each one though it slowly kills.
For not a moment can you just think,
I’ll hug the ground with my claws,
And suffocate in the floor,
And then the crowd will laugh no more.

Bright lights and city streets,
It starts with just the senses,
To break down all your moral fences.
Friends to betray and dealers to meet,
Here let vultures sing,
You strive to prove that all is real,
When you hunger, live and feel.
