Dark Stars Destroy the Void

To be read after "April Moon Meditation"
They are about the same night, but with different subject matter.

Twitching instinct
snapping clarity,
dry eyes dazzled,
puzzled;
blinking,
blurry;
blinking,
stunned—
dark stars
destroy the void.

Spring in spring,
a leaping dovetail,
interlocks anew;
fabricating sweeping comfort,
pendulous,
within The oak,
rekindling,
recovering;
time mislaid,
is raised.

Drifting together;
faint filigree lustre
flickers through foliage,
projecting delusion;
wakeful sleep,
merging dreams,
intertwining satellites,
unfettered from orbit,
lingering,
into infinity,
‘til sun.
