Growth
Growing is a process
And time is its food source
When all too suddenly time froze
And with that, the glimmer of hope for something to develop
All I required was a taster of what could be
But that was taken away from me
With me in mind a decision was made
I understand that you are afraid
You took what I said at the start as absolute truth
But really and truly im not that resolute
Continuously evolving I became comfortable
The idea of being yours seemed wonderful
All I want is for you to understand
You did not ask me where I now stand
Your mind was set and that was clear
Stubborn as you are i knew it would not veer
So yes, I had many things to say
What would have been the point when it wouldn’t have made a difference either way?
I’m not sure of this culmination
Appreciate my frustration
Every experience teaches me things
And I learned that I can fly into relationships with eagles wings
