People surprise me
The comings and goings of life is sometimes hard to sustain.
Joy and anger seep from within when you experience new life joining your own. Emotions confused and embroiled taking time to return to an equilibrium.
Some linger and loiter whilst others vanish in a flash.
There are others.
Others that seem to defy the rule.
That seem to want to stay, willingly.
However much you deter them -
They don’t budge.
They’re seemingly here to stay.
For a while at the very least.
They exert positivity, acceptance and love in its highest form.
They see you as a whole as opposed to broken pieces.
The enjoyment of each others company, heart warming and festive.
Seasoned with delightful sarcasm, and sprinkled with sugar coated humour.
These are the kinds you don’t want to let go off.
The ones you will cherish.
They’re the type that only will be proud of your growth and success and cushion any of your downfalls.
Supportive and caring you are to me, like I said, I shall cherish thee.
