Crawl

Neatly the shade creeps up the stairs,
And at the click of one’s fingers
I’m ruined

Neither haunts nor scorn, but rather
Ignore me
Wherein the terror lies bleeding,
Stunned.

From the underside of existence I
Have been shunned

The worst theodicy I dare to believe;
That there is something else,
But it cares not for me.
