To A Father, Who Wasn't A Father At All

To a father, who wasn’t a father at all.
To a man, who was never truly a man.
To the vessel that gave me life, who did not watch me grow.

To the liar, who made empty promises.
To the disappointment, who defines the word.
To the wrecking ball who demolished my mothers heart.

These words, this hurt, and this emptiness,
every letter, every pulse, every syllable,
is dedicated to you, from me, a part of you

To a father, who wasn’t a father at all.
