It hurts.
It really does.
I can feel the pain.
It’s tearing through my chest.
Is there a cure?
Yes.
You.
I need you to hold me close,
so the pain will go away.
Tell me you love me,
so the aching will cease.
You know I am in pain,
yet you don’t so a thing.
The pain is eating me from the inside out.
I just need to hear you say,
“I love you.”
However, I know you won’t.
I see I will be in pain for a long, long time,
for you won’t say,
“I love you.”
