To all women who hate their skin colour
Who Is An African Woman
What makes a black woman to be black
Is’t the hair or body
The colour of her skin
what makes me black
If I saw her from the black
Could I tell she was black by her roots
Or would I be blinded by her tracks
what makes her black
Is she proud of her complexion
Or does she bleach it
Something is not right
When the hair texture GOD gave her
IS not welcomed in her prayer time
Yet she praises and worship hair that has
Been sacrificed to another GOD
WHat makes me a black African woman
IF I sae her from the front
Could I tell she was black by the pride in her walk
Or would the fact that she not proud of being black
Define her not being beautiful
Something is not right
When the definition of a beautiful black woman is being white
