It’s not all plain sailing, at times it can be so tough
Just take baby steps, take the smooth with the rough
For when you embrace each day, you will find joy if you look
Your path is up to you, it’s your very own book
When you reach hard times and you feel like giving in
Be kinder to yourself feeling sad is not a sin
So take what life throws at you but do try to remember
The bad times will come and go, but they will not last forever
