To my beautiful, soul warming dog of seven years.
Sometimes the friendships we cherish the most come from the smallest of creatures
The adoring and heavenly creatures that forgive us time and time again
Making our lives that much easier
They teach us everything we can learn to appreciate
The smallest things become the most valued
Brisk walks, cuddling, eating bland meals
Everything fascinates you my little star
The more time passes by, the more I realize I will never forget all of our little, simple memories
It is astonishing to know that something so small can make this much of an impact in my daily life
Through the headaches, the smiles, and the long naps, I know that you are the truest of friends
No matter how melancholic or blissful I am, you always remain the same lovable creature
I love you my shining star and one day you’ll know just how much of me belongs to your little soul
