Billy Boyd

When Billy  Boyd nicked my doll
I really was put out
He had a car a bat a ball
The thieving little lout

When Billy Boyd held my hand
I felt all warm inside
At 21 he had hopes and dreams
And I would be his bride

When Billy Boyd gave me a son
My life was so complete
I never asked about the cash
The world was at our feet

When I said goodbye to Billy Boyd
He was only 42
A robbery gone wrong had took his life
I guess I always knew
