Nothing

To the innocent

Looking into your blank eyes
I see a beautiful collage of nothing
Nothing but the purely raw truth
A void of bleakness

Helplessly drawing me in
Till this day I’ve never felt
Then I saw them

Two large empty ovals
Reaching and rattling everything
Deep inside my world

So young and new
No one has had the chance
To fill those innocent eyes
With all that has, is, and will be
If only eternally ignorant

You could remain
What a blessed life
It is a sad day though
As you feel the warmth
Of my damnable love

Your eyes begin to mirror mine
With wretched knowledge
Your eyes begin to fade
Losing the luster and glow of
Nothing
