Folks today are full of depression
self condemnation
faced with aggression
every day because of what they look like
Their lives are miserable
because of your ugly comment
yet you are content
You make them feel like viruses
and now they live lives of filters
cos of you
cos of you, they became fake.
When i look around all i see - fake people
black girl tryna look like a white girl - stupid
white dude tryna claim hood - madness
Go to insta, facebook all you is fake
them faces, them brows, them hips,
those shapes, them nose - all I see is plastic.
Them girls wanna be like Kim K - stupid
they guys claiming millionaires - madness
Society has defined the standards of beauty
every girl wanna have big booty and boobs.
To all the body shamers out there
listen carefully,
Folks are suffering everyday
cos of bodyshaming
self esteem is gone
and they are full of depression
and some no longer wanna live cos of you
You are a terror, you are a killer.
You claim to be human yet your actions are inhuman,
you claim to have a conscience yet your conscience won’t judge you.
You cause them sorrow
you make them hopeless
you causes them pains
you call them names.
Beauty shouldn’t be measured by the outward looks
beauty lies on the inside.
cos appearance is deceptive.
