How can you say you love me, when all you do is cause me pain?
You’re supposed to be here for me, to shelter me, to hold me when I cry.

You just sit there with the same accusing threatening heartbreaking glance, not saying anything, not assuring me everything will be fine. Nothing; that’s all I get from you.

You’re right in front of me, but are you here, taking everything I say in?
I don’t want to fight. I’ve fought my whole life. I’m tired. Weak.

I need your help. I need to know you love me like you say you do. I want this to get better. You’re all I have. You helped me get through everything, where did that go? How did you change so much in such little time?

Where did our love go? Look into my eyes, see my heart-my broken heart, that only you can mend.

Love me to no end, just like you said you would.
