A small garden on earth
Born to a larger one
Is adorned by rosebeds
Where sweet—smelling roses grow
In the colours of the rainbow.

God once picked up the elder
Placed it near a fresh rosebud
And thus quietly talked:
“You’ve been saved to tender it
Helping it grow at sunset glow...”

The fresh rosebud grew
Under the hot sun and some dew
Tendered by the blessed rose
Sweetly watering it deeply
Touching its petals and stem softly.

In the God’s presence
Within the limits of Biology.
