Tell me something more about him so I don’t forget him,
Let me sink in his eyes and drown in the pain, deep down in the pain.
He was a frog in a fishbowl, and I’m a human but I never belonged.
Would it be wrong if I talked to your inner innocence? listen to its long story and your high school jokes. Would it be wrong if I got to know the inside of his outside? or would his parents think it's wrong?
Tell him I got lost in recklessness, and now I let my body feel my tears, large and endless.
Tell him I lied when I said it was just a kiss, and that I cried after I wished him away;
Tell him its not that he meant a lot, but that I’m a passionate for his touch.
Tell him we can’t be together cause our souls will never be the same, and tell him that might be a lie as well.
Take me to the river to wash his name off my skin
and paint the water as I cry and sin,
Tell him I wrote this cause I’m too brave to talk to him,
or you could just tell him I forgot his name.
Tell him I’m still standing here, right where he left me
and ask him if he still doesn’t regret it today.
