Hate, Intolerance and Loving Thy Neighbour
My Bob . . . there is so much hate and intolerance in the world
Intolerance coz of the shade and pigmentation of a person’s skin
Hate towards different cultures, beliefs, rituals, or just coz of tribe
Intolerance because of the town, or place that people come from
Coz of a person’s birth place, or religion accidentally born in to
Hate for those who are different, intolerance coz of appearance
Coz of clothes, or perceived outlandish garments that are worn
Because of the acts that go on in the privacy of adults bedrooms
That should be of no concern to those with a bee in their bonnet
Hate coz of stereotypes that paint all with the same scarlet brush
Blame towards those different to ourselves, hate of the foreigner
A pointed finger has 3 dirty fingers pointing back, and a thumb down
Hate, hate, hate, whilst thinking thy self-superior, holier or cleverer
Hate, hate, hate, coz of the name of the cult that people belong to
Hate and Intolerance, and more hate coz of belief, way, or tradition
Hate by self-proclaimed spiritual, conscious, wise, sentient beings
Intolerance from peace loving righteous melodious divine creatures
Tis a shame there’s so much hate, intolerance, envy, resentment, greed
Such jealousy, ill-will, bad vibes, more hate, intolerance and more hate
Tis is a shame people can’t learn to live with each other, live and let live
Let each other prosper, and share . . people of different life styles coexisting
Learning from each other, sharing varied traditions, cultures, languages
And accepting different beliefs, opinions, and views, patiently reasoning
Sharing, food, drink, smoke, goodwill, laughter, good vibes and positivity
A brotherhood of wo/man, a brotherhood of positivity and compassion
A world without prejudice, nor hate, nor intolerance towards our neighbours
Where sense states - if we can’t love our neighbour, avoid, don’t persecute or kill em
