Happy Without Me
When you won’t have to see my face again
When I’m gone and no longer here anymore
Will you care? Will you miss me just a little?
Or will you be glad? Pleased to see me depart?
You don’t care about me or my stupid feelings
Not interested in me or anything I think or do
To you I am just an annoyance, antagonizng
I rile you, you look at me with great disdain
And shut me out not letting me in, often snappy
I valued you friendship and now it is sadly gone
You were the reason I was here, foolish I know
Yes I’m a fool, and this fool must surely now go
Escape karma drama, leave, gain new perspective
How can I stay in this place when I feel so sad?
I am human, and just want to be free of suffering
And on the road to happiness like every human
My happiness is not here, now it lays elsewhere
I know I create my own reality, and the reality,
I choose to create is far away from this sad place
Where I won’t see you nor feel your cold funniness
And I can forget the delusion and lie that is past
My past is false, my future unknown but mine
I am sure you will be much happier without me
Not having to put up with my irritating presence
And will find someone funnier, sexier and better,
Wittier, more charming, more interesting than me.
