I love her still.

cat walk and a pretty face.
Those were not my desired attributes in a woman but she had it still.
Her glittering smile, her soft voice.
Those are a few of many that I still wish to see.
An epitome of charm she was.

We had love so strong,
Built with our fears and laughter not forgetting the tears we fought through.
Even though she wasn’t around on my first performance of our favourite tune.
I knew she meant it when she said “I love you too”.

Memories were created,
that cannot be debated,
I even remember when you taught me how to spell “sophisticated”.
How you were frustrated when I said your fashion sense is outdated.
If love was an occupation we would be the most compensated.

I love you still,
Though I wish I could let you see.
Though i wish I could hold your hands and speak of the butterflies you made me feel.
As I put hope in ink,
En crafting word’s I cannot speak.
Hoping that one day I’ll stare through your eyes and not blink.
No matter how long it’s gonna take,
I know, you know that my love won’t sink.
As I write this tears, know that I didn’t mean it when I said rest in peace for I believe the rest awaits for us two.
