Don’t ask….. About POETRY!
Ask me not to rhyme if I haven’t got the time
Ask me not of prose when I have a runny nose
Ask me not of poets when my tiny feet don’t show it
Ask me not of haiku cause you don’t really have a right to
Ask me not if I … afflatus– thoughts of gas you may regretus
Ask me not of alliteration - all alligators allow altercations
Ask me not to make allusion– when my thoughts are disillusion
Ask me not of Amphimacer Meter cause it makes my words just teeter
Ask me not of Anacreontic Verse when thoughts of wine and women make me terse
Ask me not whats an Anagram when words aren’t scrambled letters can
Ask me not of Anaphora lest you miss all thoughts before ah
Ask me not continue subject– lest some better poet doth he object
