CHANGING SEASONS– TRANSITANDO ESTACIONES

TRANSITANDO ESTACIONES
Traducción: Cuauthémoc Molina Monroy

El viento helado ha mordido MI cara
se ha llevado mi paraguas;
la lluvia me moja hasta los huesos
y dificulta mi visión.

Aulla el viento
dobla del dolor un árbol,
mi mirada se centra en sus ramas desnudas
pocas son las hojas que se afianzan tercamente;
mis oídos reciben su queja.

Después de la lluvia airosa,
me deja un un sabor limpio;
inhalo lo que emanan sus copas,
su brisa gentil acaricia mi pelo,
los narcisos asoman su nariz
y con rubores me susurran.

Tengo lo que quiero,
camino por un amplio sendero.

CHANGING SEASON

Icy wind has bitten my face
taken my umbrella;
rain soaks me to the bones
and blurs my vision.

Gall howls
sways the aching tree,
I stare at its naked branches
with few reluctant leaves;
the tree shivers in my ears.

The air after the rain tastes clean;
I inhale it by bowls full,
a gentle breeze brushes my hair,
daffodils peep their noses
and whisper me their blushes.

I have what I want,
walk the open road.
