That Girl
“She was a tall girl”, says the roof
a very rusty ceiling in the whole house;
“A kind girl, too”, says the flowers
by the windows with faces following the sun.
“But she is a very shy girl”, says the mirror.
“A boy once lived in her heart”, say the papers
with love stories and so many poems,
now in the trash with other papers and tissues.
“They ignored each other”, says the calendar
when each day passed by without any notices.
“A miracle happened”, says the sky
containing so many stars and so bright.
The side-door says, “She talked to that boy;
How she feared one day she will not see him again.”
“Finally they understood each other”, says the world.
