Loneliness
It can be pleasantly refreshing
Or painfully cruel
Everyone feels it, whether they are a genius or a fool
It’s not something that usually receives appreciation
But it can end with a simple initiation
Many fear it and seek company
Although every now and then it becomes their reality
It can cause pain, suffering, even death
And is usually unbearable until the final breathe
It is responsible for self-harm and pouring tears
As well as deep sadness and crushing fears
One fact is certain in everyone’s life
That the pain of loneliness can cause heartbreak and also strife
There are people who use it to improve their lives
Anyone can do it, even husbands and wives
Loneliness can lead to the choice of suicide
When people have lost hope and have constantly cried
But no matter what people may say or think
There is always hope, to make bad feelings shrink
There are friends, family, and partners too
Just look around, they are not far from you
And if the feeling of joy makes you laugh or cry
Just let it all out, don’t be shy
