Beach time
In a flash the whole beach lashed,
laughed, as another siren painted soul
sky blue skin competing
dashed to the submarine cold
Hot little beach rocket bodies
shown off against inclement thighs,
the water’s invitingly pushing
its cheap invigorating high
Tourist lie and litter
on shores over-stayed
till the sunset dog-brigade
claim local time
and the seagulls, for once
scatter
