My Man

To my only serpent

YOU,
With blue jeans,
White shirt
And our first kiss
Drowns in my memory,
Deep in the imagery.
Your sonorous voice,
Board shoulders with
An Uroboros tattoo
Stamped on that strong left arm
As it binds my whole body and soul,
Surrenders me to its circle,
Poisons my red virgin heart,
Then captures a sheepish me
Into your eternal Serpent-ish life.

Do I terrify?
Do I blame on you?
The questions are absurd
Or maybe I am just
A hypocritical masochist
A misfortune Justine
A sinful Medusa
A witch from East End
Waiting, waiting, waiting
Like a foolish prey of the Gor.
Yet your poison is saccharine,
Bedazzling and powerful
As YOU are.
