To our country
Culture is in us all,
from old, young,
big or small..
We here as a class,
trying to Forget the past.
Know who you are,
and where you come from.
So that we can all grow
and start from the bottom..
To know where you going
just let life keep flowing..
Don’t look down on others,
they our sisters and brothers.
Remember back then?
When it was culture to defend..
Madiba is probably turning in his grave,
thinking about days he was a slave.
Fighting for our dignity
hoping it’ll last For infinity.
But that’s not reality!
It’s a dream!
A fantasy!
It’s sad ..
But that’s all we see.
Fights, hate and anger
just look at the xenophobia,
what is happening to our country?
Have we all lost our humanity?
Cultures comes from within,
just know how to begin.
To unite as one,
join in on the fun.
Culture is beautiful,
and so meaningful..
Our culture is our roots,
our customs, lifestyles and foods.
We all different in tradition,
But we all have one mission.
To be who we want to be,
but don’t do it for others to see.
Cause what’s destined is one thing..
We all die at the end*
