Long Live Life

Long Live Tau Alpha

The golden beads
Of brotherhood is unbroken
The Argo of love and fellowship
Continues through twilights dusk to dawn

Will sail on to the seven seas
Through the four winds
Under calm cerulean sky
And in high seas howling gale

The Argonauts immortal spirit
Possessed have to yield a life
Given to virtues of faith hope love
Ever the Golden Fleece in heart

A Tau Alphan is dead
Long live Tau Alpha!

The grim reaper had a very busy time in the last few days across the seas. But as death is but a threshold to a resurrection, a given gateway to eternal life of peace, the Angel of Death has all the odds against him. For as every person is judged for what they had done “as it is done in heaven” observing the virtues of faith, hope and love here on earth coupled with the communion with God the Father without a doubt will sustain our immortality in the hereafter. Long live Life! Long live Tau Alpha.

“After being emptied of the dead, Hades and death are thrown into the lake of fire in Revelation 20:13–14.”

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
....
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

One of my favorite poems, this one by John Donne. All I could think about after many deaths in my life recently. Not just brods like Roger and Atong, but family and work colleagues as well. But as you say, death is but a door to another life

@Vic: “Thou know'st 'tis common; all that lives must die,
Passing through nature to eternity."
The Bard of Avon from “Hamlet”.
Yes one brief sleep, one small step across the threshold we find eternal peace and beauty, we commune with our Creator our Father.

I can relate with you. Last month in less than 48 hours three of my friends passed on. And then came the sad news from our Tau Alpha Brods.
Mortality’s hold is too strong, yet from the impermanence of our existence imbued with our faith lies ahead the grandeur of peace and nature’s beauty.
Thanks Brod for liking.
