~Read the tome. And read it again.
 
Stories meant to never end
 
but always beginning again.
 
I felt new refrain
 
as I gathered my mind.
 
~Bear a strong grip
 
on shoulders bare,
 
I sat and stared
 
at those endless spaces
 
between those eternal lines.
 
Oh those endless spaces
 
between those eternal lines.
 
~Read it again, Read it a second time.
 
Maybe to learn something
 
new this time. Or just to find
 
that nothing’s actually there.
 
And that stories were not made of words,
 
t’was the spaces that were ultimately kind.
