If I could pray,
I would pray that you all
enjoy your lives.
Final, but not ultimate, enjoyment
of the self and restlessness.
And the twinge of sorrow
ebbs and flows as a violet ribbon
in violent flight, just
instigating the spirit inside
to cathartic satisfaction.
And my naivete
that everyone can feel
that dominance
of experience
leads me,
to a passionate rage
(usually by myself
against myself
designed by everybody else)
and with that rage
my fist punches forward
and my harrowed breathes
form from a smile
