Willful Fellows

Alas my fellow poets, have I found a home
amongst your fold: fellow stoics, fellow foes?
Kindred in spirit and dreamers of singular goal?
Oh sweet apathy, I write of your death throes.

Oh lady I will be your beer speak,
laughing as we stalk the grocery aisles
my hand snug in your back pocket,
no money but we share a smile.

Who is she you may ask?
Who is it that I stalk the hours?
It is my passion, my purpose
and she will know my power.

And she will know yours as well,
my willful fellows, fellow readers and fellow writers.
Passion will know yours as well
