Poem: Secrets

Who has never experienced a moment pain?
A moment of sadness.
When people find out you have hidden secrets,
That you wish that person you love so much could know them.
You wish them away, avoid them,
Shunning the people who care about you and know that....
There are secrets and would want you to share but I cannot tell
Because if we do they will hurt those we love.
Secrets that you want everyone to know about.
Living life in hell, but pretending you’re a boy scout.
Lying to those that I love the most, while pretending to be nice.
Smiling and pretending to live well, but thinking about ending your life.
They live well while they force you not to tell.
They live around me for so long, in truth it’s a living HELL.
But what can you do?
Stop living?
Give in?
No you keep on living and never give up.
Some days things look up.
Some days are gloomy.
Hold on, try harder, and better days somewhere is looming.
I don’t know what to say.
I don’t know how to feel.
But, I’ll keep on trying to survive.
For life, I have a strong will.
Sometimes I am ashamed and I feel so alone.
Sometimes I find myself crying in a small room in my home.
But, I trudge on each day, trying to see something new.
Hold your head up.
Go Surfing.
Feel the breeze
Ride a Bicycle.
Keep trying.
It will be alright soon.
Who has never experienced a moment of sadness
A moment of pain.
When people force you to hide secrets,
But I keep on looking closely until the day I find their flaws.
