Not much to write, but I have so much to say! I'm 19 years old with a heart that is only getting bigger. I love this world and only want to make it better. Writing for me is something I just started in January of 2015. I moved away from my home country to the Dominican Republic where I am with my other side of my family. Only speaking a little spanish has made me think more than I talk. So when it comes to my writing, it is all for a message. Something I enjoy very much. I've liked writing ever since I received an A+ in my English 12 class in high school. Sounds goofy. I'm a graduate of 2014. Beloit, WI is where I hold my building grounds inside of me. I can talk forever if you give me a chance. Yes, RESPECT is everything with me. I love showing love to people. You can't bring me down. Lift me up instead! Always give a message in writing. It's just the feeling of wanting the same in return.
A TRUE piece of trash! Download my novel: "Taliban Telemarketer" OUT NOW! Google it!!! What the readers are saying: "EAT SHIT AND DIE!" "GO AWAY!" "The rantings of a madman!" "Reading this can easily be compared you sitting on the curb, sweating your tits off when you get bitten by a mosquito that then gets eaten by a mangy cat ... only to see the cat get viciously attacked by a pack of wild pit bulls and torn to shreds. The leader of the pack gorges himself on the cat's carcass, making him too slow to get out of the way of the 18 wheeler that crushes him into an unrecognizable stain on the highway ... you are watching crows pick at the mess when your trailer trash mom calls out to tell you that dinner is ready. Her shrill voice startles the crows, who scatter in a rush, but not before one of them shits right into your mouth - and you swallow knowing that it has more taste than this CRAPPY post from KIM CANCER." "i'm not sure what i just read. it seemed the ramblings of a crack addict or a conspiracy theorist coming off a 4 day bender. exactly what you were trying to say is a mystery and please for the love of God destroy your computer seek counseling and try to publish something slightly more coherent in the future. may God have mercy on your soul. amen." "You cured my autistic cat! God Bless You!"
I hail from Southwest Virginia and I am currently a student of Social Work at Concord University. My interest in human behavior is what drives my poetic endeavor. Inspirations to my work include Poe, Whitman, and Shakespeare. I've been writing poetry since I was about 13 years old but this is the first online-based setting my poetry has entered.
I was born on Long Island and have lived here all my life. I love the suburban towns and the proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. I am married, have 2 sons, 2 daughters-in-law, 3 stepchildren, and a total of 6 grandchildren. I write poetry, short fiction, personal essay, and memoir and am in the process of creating a style of mixed media art in which I can incorporate my poems. I enjoy nature walks, many forms of art, and I am obsessed with books and reading. I much prefer the solid feel of a real book though I do own and read books on my kindle e-reader. I also enjoy cooking and gardening. I consider myself an earthy and spiritual woman. I work full time as an Assistant Principal in a special education preschool. I love my work and the staff I supervise is amazing in the warmth and dedication. It's a pleasant and friendly place to spend many hours a day. That said, I eagerly await retirement when I can write full time. I blog at www.amarriageofpoetryandart.blogspot.com and at www.reneeiswriting.blogspot.com My first collection of poetry has just been published and is available at amazon.com. The title is: "I am My Mother's Only Poem."
I became deaf at age 3 and was adopted in a family that later became a broken home..I was sent away at age 4 because my family did not know what to do with me due to my deafness. as result of that..and my views of the world was very dark and hopeless..and I turned 17 thats when my world became a better place because I discovered poetry and one day I just jot down on a paper..my teacher came and asked if i had any traning or had any idea what i was doing which at the time I didn't..so she introduced me to poetry and handed me maya angelou which was her favorite poet. Right there I had an inkling that this would be my salvation and most of all my message to the world and hopes of a chain that can be broken free.
