Caricamento in corso...

point to me those that never love

A shadow knows nothing of darkness bound by the light,
tongues never taste if never starved of forbidden appetite.
Pride never knows sacrifice without epitaphs and anthems,
Charity can never ledger a price unless the poor can grant them.
Seeds can seek the very sun in defiance unbridled of hesitation,
there is no amount of remorse or apologies for our now untethered
creations.
I mean kids and the gamble that one day they could find you rotten,
Not many nurses turn you over, or toil under beds to clean the forgotten.
They say that one day distance will take away the pain,
now there’s a forest unblurred by the subtle forces of change.
Once there stood flowers new everyday, year to year,
While constantly the drowning cried on the lake they swam made of tears.
