Strength
To everyone that had or has cancer <3
A cold essence took hold of me
Life no longer being available
The shivering words of 'no chance’ struck fear
A thought of seizing to exist flooded my thoughts
This is it. The last of my days
They called me in, emotions being concealed
'We have the results’
Out of breath, scared as well
Just as I thought the battle was over
She continued with ' negative’
A heap of emotions blew over me
The feeling of being free
A struggle that felt like it was going on forever
Finally conquered, I was done.
Streams fell down my glowing face
I was held in my mother’s embrace
I look back to this day
Thinking how lucky I am
With out faith, there is no hope
And with out hope, there is no love
Hold on to every strand you have
Praying for the strength
Because without strength, there is no life.
