the side of love that nobody talks about
This poem is about how incredible love is and how incredibly devastating too.
Growing up, people would say that
falling in love would be incredible.
That even the mere feeling would take captive
of you entirely and well they say,
that is how you know that you’re in love.
But nobody warned me that falling out of it would be just as captivating
or that this time my heart wouldn’t be able to handle it.
