Oh that could’ve been me...
Another fantasy thats run away from me.
But it wasn’t meant to be.

That’s what I’ll say to me.

I run away– from anything doubtful.
My words can be a mouthful.

And times aren’t the same,
because now you’ll never call my name.
& Back when we were young,
it be me and you under the sun.

You thought you’d marry me,
oh so naively. I thought the same for me.
Me, me, me, me, me.
Oh a narcissistic day dream.

Clouded by emotion,
my thoughts could fill an ocean.
I’m a flake by nature,
but “oh so mature.”

I can’t cary the burden of my reality,
because maybe it just wasn’t meant to be.
