An odissey

I see my foolishness in others,
A translucent absurdity of chances,
And I’m ashamed.

You reached out to me,
And I was blind,
Cowardly hidden behind myths and demons.

Now, I hold my words,
And let my eyes and my songs
Be your guide to my soul.

And birds fly from dusty roads
To greener places,
Phoenixes from the great fire
That consumed us both.

Oddisey: a group of Phoenixes.
