the pole

South

Clouds who gave the rain to pour
and the winds howl a blast to roar
protect thee from the mighty blow
the bitter artic frost and snow show

chill of the land thy cold hands form
shield thee upon a north windy snow
whistling gale make me ache with pain
gangrene set to fire on my bloody toes
base hut afar from the south pole shore

fair in the frosty day with ice cold blue
dream to be a new dawn for thee born
roots of nature pass by make time past
light of another day upon seek new life
south pole killing four in heavens door
