watching as the waters flow
downstream to another land
And towards another day
 
The same water that passed me by
Will pass others along its way
to a future, a far off place
And into yet another day
 
This stream of life that never ends
Through all the days it passes
Seen by many along the way
(And every dream is taken)
Towards another distant day
 
A far off place, to that tomorrow
(never to be reached)
a distant future built on dreams
To another day, another day.
