Hoping that You'll Come Through

It’s early in the morning and the night is ahead
I’ve got those visions again in my head
I’m trembling here on the side of my bed
Just hoping that you’ll come through

The tramp stole my light, and the road is wide
I really did want to have you on my side
But if it doesn’t work out, I’ll take another ride
Just hoping that you’ll come through

I’ll tell you the first, if I should arrive
These visions don’t say much, but at least I’m alive
Those emergency cars are driving me wide
But I’m hoping that you’ll come through

They say I got lucky, when they picked me up
But those visions, they’re speaking from another cup
Now there’s nobody left in this neighbourhood
And I’m just waiting for you to come through

There was this accident, this crash in my head
It troubled me badly, and that vision just bled
Someone wanted to steal me too, take me down, make me blue
But I’m just sitting here hoping that you’ll come through
