Adaptations

Of snowflakes and their evolution,
Descending from the skyward ocean,
Through changing skies of hot and cold,
An intrepid journey so determined so bold,
Molded and shaped from sky like variations,
Snowflakes form from chiseled adaptations.

They dance to the rhythm of the swirling sky
With a soft descending and a poetic sigh.
They set their sights on the earth down below,
Gracefully fallen as a creation called snow.
With each snowflake the same as each others’,
Moving apart but landing like twin brothers,
They adapted to the environment
And re-adapted to the ground.
