Classroom lore, industry’s interests,
Young minds developing,
Learning as much as one can grasp,
Fulfilling industry’s needs for
Individual and communal prosperity,

Lore of the streets
And out of the classroom,
Outcasts of the communal spirit,
The shortcut to individual prosperity
With danger, mistrust, and death
Always lurking around the corner.
What kind of a life is that?

Hi Nelson.
I wrote this for "The Belt and Beyond," our local magazine's "Back to School" issue.

That’s a non-life. A Hade’s lure.

Nice contra verses. Like. Thanks Robert.
