Driven by Faith

Faith is the vital
Nourishment for the
Development of invention

Invention is a ship
Sailing against the current
The current is complacency
That life is settled into

Complacency is the crew
Of the ship too fearful
To keep it on course

Fear is begotten
By the mistrust of
What the future
May bring

The future is the
Fog shrouded harbor too
Obscure to lead
Invention to its destiny

Faith is still the ship
Sailing into the unknown
Fully confident despite
Its obstacles

I read this from the last line going up after I read it from the beginning going down. Very nice!

Glad you liked it, Alex. Without faith, nothing good will happen.
