From the ground I looked up and saw
A colossal Ferris wheel touching the sky,
Daring me to come aboard and ride.
I got on as I swallowed my pounding heart,
My inner voice telling me to abort,
But I, finding my courage, stayed inside.

When I reached the top, I prepared to die.
The Grim Reaper appeared before me
And I saw my grave way down under
Waiting for me and calling my name,
But that iron beast let me down gently
As I floated thru the sky like a bird
And couldn’t wait to get on board again.

Only been a couple of times on a Ferris’s Wheel. First time felt like you did.

Liked. Thanks Robert.
