In the Face of Time

The seasons rode in on the wings of fate and foiled my attempts to prolong them.  My procrastinations smoothed over the devastation of truth that would have haunted me through my sleepless nights.  My dreams offered me a substitute for truth and dared me to use them during the hours of my awakening.  Even though the true light emanates from deep inside, false contentment emanates from the mind that competes for control of that light within, God’s infallible spirit.

Confrontation is only the revelation of truth, that divine peacemaker that speaks to the soul and offers its consolation to it.  Truth is a deep kindness that sees beyond all pretention.  It will give me the courage to confront my fears as my nervous days approach me.
